What happens when my free trial ends?

A banner counts down the trial's last seven days; that night you move to Free and a one-time pop-up says what changed — choose a plan to keep everything.

If ResoFlow has given your venue a free trial of a plan, it won't end by surprise. In the trial's last seven days an amber banner across the top of your dashboard says when it ends, with a Choose a plan button that opens the plan chooser on Account → Plan and usage — and the account owner gets an email a week before. Only the account owner can choose a plan; admins see the same banner asking them to pass it on.

When the trial ends

Once the trial's end time passes, the banner says the trial has ended and that your plan moves to Free overnight (or, if you run standalone products, that your venue plan ends and your products carry on). Until then you still have everything the trial unlocked — choose a plan before the overnight switch and nothing changes.

The first time you open the dashboard after the switch, a one-time pop-up explains it: the settings that were part of the trial and are now switched off (the same list as the "Your free trial has ended" email), what the Free plan includes, and that your bookings, customers and settings are all still here — choosing the trial's plan again switches everything back on. Choose a plan opens the plan chooser; Stay on Free closes it. Each owner and admin sees it once (an admin gets a single Got it button), and it stops appearing once you choose a plan, or 30 days after the switch.

A discount waiting for you

If a discount is waiting for you — for example 50% off your first three months, agreed when your venue was set up — the banner, the pop-up and the limit strips say so. It starts when you choose a plan.

Your plan's limits on Free

Once you're on Free, strips at the top of the dashboard tell you when online bookings reach 80% of the monthly allowance and when they're paused at 100% (until the allowance resets), and when you have more tables, staff members or floor plans than the plan includes — you can't add more until you remove some or choose a plan. Nothing you already have is deleted.
