What if I have more tables, floor plans or staff logins than my plan includes?

Nothing is deleted — only your plan's number stay in use, and the rest wait, greyed, until you upgrade. You choose which on the What's in use page.

When a free trial ends or you move to a smaller plan, you might have more tables, floor plans or staff logins than the new plan includes. Nothing is deleted. Only your plan's number stay in use, and the rest wait — still there, greyed — until you upgrade.

What stays in use

Until you choose, ResoFlow keeps these in use for you:

Door and kitchen logins don't count. A login with the Door (scanner only) or Kitchen (order screen only) role can only open the Scanner or the orders screen (and, where you have the Team area, the Tips page every member of staff can read), so you can have as many as you like on any plan: they never count toward your staff logins and are never switched off. A Team member (shifts and clock-in only) login doesn't count either — it comes with the Team area, where the Team product covers up to 25 people on the rota in all (Complete has no limit), and going over only brings a reminder on the Rota page.

With no venue plan (only products), your tables and floor plans all stay in use, and every product except Team includes one staff login as well as your own.

What waiting means

Choosing which ones stay in use

Open the What's in use page from the strip at the top of your dashboard, or from the note on your floor plan or Staff page. Tick the tables, floor plans and staff logins to keep in use — up to your plan's number — then tap Save changes. Choosing a different floor plan brings its tables with it. Only the account owner can choose; everyone else can see the page. Each save adds one line to your Activity log saying what changed — for example "Chose what's in use: Tables 9 and 10 instead of 7 and 8".

When this rule first started, on the day ResoFlow 3 launched, every venue that had more than its plan included that day was sent one email saying what was waiting and linking to this page.

When you upgrade

Everything switches back on straight away. Your choice is remembered, so if you move to a smaller plan again later, the same ones stay in use first.
