A venue gave me a referral code — where do I enter it, and what do I get?
Enter it on the sign-up page (the link fills it in for you, or open "Have a code?"); once you're on a paid plan and have paid your first month, £50 credit lands on your account 15 days later and comes off your next bills automatically.
Where to enter it. It goes in when you create your account, not afterwards. If the venue sent you their referral link, just open it — the sign-up page shows "Referred by their venue" and the code is already in. If you only have the referral code (it looks like COPPER-4K7T), open the sign-up page, click Have a code? and type it in before you create the account — the same box takes a setup code from us if you were given one of those instead, and it tells you which kind it recognised. The referral is recorded the moment your account exists — you can pick your plan that day or later.
What you get. Once you take a paid plan (Plus, Pro or Complete) and pay your first monthly invoice, we wait 15 days — your money-back window — and then £50 credit lands on your account. It comes off your next bills automatically — your plan, add-ons or credit top-ups, whatever you're billed for next — and only anything left over is charged to your card. The venue that referred you gets £50 credit too. We email you the day it lands, and it shows on Account → Billing. Credit has no cash value and stays on your account until it's used.
If the code is refused. The sign-up page will say the code can't be used — that's all it says, on purpose. Usually it's a typo (a referral code has no 0, O, 1, I or L in its last four characters), or the referral programme isn't running at the moment. If you typed a code without its dashes and the page asks you to add them, it's because a setup code and a referral code can look alike without them. You can still create your account without a code; a referral can't be added afterwards, so check the code with the venue first if you'd rather wait.
Things that mean no reward. Standalone products on their own (Gift cards, Loyalty, Tickets, Order & Pay or Your website without a venue plan) don't count; nor does a venue that shares an owner, a card or premises with the one that referred it; nor does someone who has already paid for or trialled ResoFlow before. And if you cancel or refund inside your money-back window, there's simply nothing to pay out.
