Do pages remember where I was?

Yes, until you sign out — every main page comes back exactly as you left it; tap it again to start afresh.

Yes — until you sign out. Leave a main page (Bookings, Guests, Orders, Messages, Reports, Settings …) for another one and come back by the sidebar, the phone's tab bar or the menu, and it's exactly as you left it: on Bookings, the same view (List, Timeline or Floor plan), the same day, the same times and the same place on the page; on Guests, the same search and tab; in Settings, the page you were on. A day other than today is kept until your venue's day ends (5am for a venue open past midnight); after that, and whenever the page is reloaded, Bookings opens on today.

Start a page afresh: tap it again while you're on it. Bookings goes back to today and now, at the top, on the view you're using; any other main page goes back to its start.

After signing out: signing out — or being signed out when the device is left idle, or when a sign-in reaches its time limit — clears where you were, so the next person starts on today, at the top, and never sees what someone else left open (an open booking, a guest, a search). Your own choices stay on that device: Bookings opens on the view you last used, with your filters and display settings. A view your role can't open is never used — Bookings then opens on the List.

On a tablet, a phone or a laptop the whole Bookings list scrolls with the page — every booking in one scroll, with the list's tabs staying at the top — so nothing is squeezed into a small box. Only a large, tall screen keeps the list in its own box beside a header that stays put. The Timeline and the Floor plan always keep a good-sized area (at least 400 pixels tall, or most of the screen) and the page scrolls to reach it.

Typing on a tablet or phone: when the keyboard opens, the box you're typing in moves up above it — in a side panel (for example changing a member of staff's name), a pop-up or the page itself — even the last box in a panel.
