Getting started with Order & Pay

A venue that runs Order & Pay on its own — the set-up list, going live, the table QR codes, and the ways customers reach your menu and ordering pages (the links, the QR codes, your own website and your venue page).

Order & Pay runs on its own — no venue plan needed — or alongside any plan, in two versions: at the table, and table, collection and delivery. A venue that signs up for Order & Pay on its own gets a set-up list with no booking steps — its tables and floor plan take orders, never bookings.

Your set-up

Your set-up lists what's needed before you take orders:

• Confirm venue info — what customers see on your pages.
• Set policies — your terms for customers.
• Add menu items — even one dish is enough to start; customers see your menu once you're live.
• Add tables — each table gets its own QR code.
• Connect Stripe to take payments — order money goes straight to your own Stripe account.
• Turn on Order & Pay — serving times, VAT receipts and the age-check policy, then switch ordering on.
• Print your table QR codes — one for each table, from QR codes → Table codes.

With collection and delivery, Set up collection and delivery joins the list — where you deliver, your fees, time slots and whether you take cash. Then press Go live. Until you do, your pages show customers "Opening soon". The Set up Order & Pay card on the Order & Pay page opens the next step while anything is left.

Where customers find you

• At the table — the table's own QR code. A guest scans it, orders and pays from their phone.
• Your menu page — the card on the Menu page: tap the link to copy it, QR code opens its printable code, and Add to your website puts your menu on the website you already have.
• Your ordering page (collection and delivery) — the card on the Order & Pay page: copy the link for your social bios and email footers, print its QR code, and put it on your own website (Settings → Website widgets lists the widgets your venue has; or put the link behind a button there).
• Your venue page — it shows an Order card for you automatically.

After you go live

• Do a test order yourself, then set up the Orders screen (Counter, Pass or Wall) or a kitchen printer, and show your team.
• Add your team on the Staff page so each signs in with their own PIN.
• Change the words of the receipt and the other order emails in Settings → Email templates (the Orders group).
