Getting started with Your domain
Connecting a web address you already own to ResoFlow — the one-step set-up, the one record you paste at your domain company, going live, and what your address shows.
Your domain runs on its own — no venue plan needed — or alongside any plan. You bring a web address you already own (ResoFlow doesn't sell domains), and ResoFlow puts your venue on it.
Your set-up
Your set-up has one step of its own: Connect your domain — paste one record at your domain company, and ResoFlow checks it and connects it for you. It opens Settings → Your domain:
- Type your web address.
- Paste the one line it gives you (a CNAME record for www) where you bought your domain.
- Press I've added it — check now. Once the record has spread, your address goes live with its security certificate — ResoFlow keeps checking for you, so you can close the page.
- Optionally, add the plain address (without www) so it works too.
If your address already shows a website somewhere else, the page asks whether to replace it or keep your current website. Then go live as usual — when your website is your only other product, publishing it is going live.
What your address shows
- Without Your website — your free venue page, with everything you switch on in ResoFlow (bookings, menu, what's on, gift cards, waitlist, loyalty) appearing there automatically.
- With Your website — your themed site.
Settings → Your domain keeps an eye on it once it's live: whether the website is connected, the certificate (it renews automatically), the plain address and email. Its Your web address card, at the top, carries the address itself — tap it to copy, Open shows it, and QR code opens its printable code.
