Getting started with Your website

A venue that runs Your website on its own — the two-step set-up, building and publishing the site (publishing is going live), and where customers find it.

Your website runs on its own — no venue plan needed — or alongside any plan. A venue that signs up for Your website on its own gets a two-step set-up list.

Your set-up

Your set-up lists what's needed:

The first time you open the Your website page, a short guided set-up walks you through your look, the top of your home page, your story, a few photos and a preview — then Publish now, or Save as a draft to carry on later. The Set up your website card opens the next step while anything is left.

Publishing is going live. When your website (with or without Your domain) is your only product, there's no separate Go live button — press Publish website and your site is live. If your venue has other products too, Your set-up ends with Go live as usual.

Editing your site

On the Your website page:

Where customers find your site

Your site lives at your venue page's address — the page shows View your site at … with the link. With the Your domain product it lives at your own web address instead. The Your website’s address card near the top of the page carries that address: tap it to copy, Open shows the site, and QR code opens its printable code. After you publish, a card reminds you to point your other listings (Google, social bios) at it.
