How do I switch from Collins to ResoFlow?
How Collins and ResoFlow compare, from Collins’ own pages — then export your customer data, import it and share your booking link.
Collins is part of The Access Group and connects with DesignMyNight, priced per site from a published starting price; ResoFlow publishes its whole ladder and charges no per-cover booking commission. Moving across takes three steps: get your data out, import it, and switch your booking links over.
Collins and ResoFlow side by side
Every Collins fact below is from Collins's own published pages, as ResoFlow's comparison page checked them on 12 October 2026. No price Collins doesn't publish is estimated. Published terms change, so always confirm current terms with Collins directly. ResoFlow is not affiliated with Collins. Where a rival says its prices exclude VAT, so do we show them; ResoFlow currently charges no VAT.
- Plan prices: From £149 per month per site (Access Collins Evo), plus any training, set-up, integration and add-on fees in your quote; full packages behind a form
- Free plan: None advertised
- Diner marketplace: Yes — DesignMyNight
- No-show tools: Deposits at the point of booking, large-party securing and Collins Pay payments
- Getting started: Book a demo; confirm onboarding scope and timescales
ResoFlow's side, from the same page: published plans — Free with no time limit, then Plus (£39/month), Pro (£79/month) and Complete (£129/month), with two months free if you pay annually; no per-cover booking fees and no commission on table bookings; monthly, with no annual contract; and you start self-serve — create your venue free, no demo call. When you first subscribe you get a 14-day money-back guarantee.
When Collins might suit you better
Four things Collins's own pages offer that ResoFlow does not — real, and for some venues the whole argument:
- You want DesignMyNight diners finding you. DesignMyNight offers a discovery channel for guests looking for venues and experiences. ResoFlow provides direct booking links and a separate venue directory, with no per-cover commission.
- You're a bar or group running big party bookings. Collins offers large-party securing against last-minute cancellations and pre-orders in the booking flow, and the DesignMyNight audience is built around bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs.
- You want one supplier for the whole stack. Collins sits inside the Access Group’s Customer Engagement Suite — discovery and reservations, guest WiFi, CRM and loyalty, ticketing and vouchers — with an open API to your EPOS provider. ResoFlow has no EPOS or CRM integrations today.
- You run many sites and want group-level tooling. Collins is sold per site inside a suite with tools for hospitality groups. ResoFlow keeps each venue’s bookings and customer records separate. One sign-in shows every venue side by side, but there’s no shared group customer list and no group-wide money reports.
Step 1 — Export your data from Collins
Your guest book is your data. Export your customer database and booking history from Collins as CSV files — or ask their support team for an export if you can't find one in your reports.
Step 2 — Import it into ResoFlow
Imports run from the wizard at Settings → Data import — four steps: Upload, Mapping, Preview, Import. Customer imports come with Plus and above, and with every paid Gift Cards, Loyalty, Tickets or Order & Pay product; booking imports need a venue plan. Only Owners and Admins see the page.
- Pick a tile — Customers for your customer list, Bookings for your reservation history — then click the upload box (Click to upload your CSV file) and choose the file. Maximum 500 rows per file; if your export is larger, split it in a spreadsheet and run the wizard more than once.
- On the Mapping step, the wizard matches your CSV columns to ResoFlow fields wherever the column names are recognisable — check each one and map by hand any it missed, then click Preview data.
- Preview shows the first 10 rows. Fix anything flagged, then click Import N records.
A customer whose email already exists in your directory is merged, never duplicated. Your opening hours, tables and policies aren't part of a CSV — you set those up in ResoFlow directly (Your set-up, in the sidebar, walks you through it).
Step 3 — Share your new booking link
Your public booking page (it looks like …/book/your-venue) is live once your setup essentials are done. Put the link on your website, social profiles and Google Business Profile — the walkthroughs at Settings → Get more bookings cover Google, Apple Maps, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp — or embed the booking widget on your own site. You can run both for a while during the transition, then decide with real numbers.
