How do I switch from TheFork to ResoFlow?
How TheFork and ResoFlow compare, from TheFork’s own pages — then export your bookings from TheFork Manager, import it and share your booking link.
TheFork pairs its software with a diner marketplace and charges a fee based on a percentage of your average bill per guest for marketplace bookings; ResoFlow charges no booking commission and publishes flat prices. Moving across takes three steps: get your data out, import it, and switch your booking links over.
TheFork and ResoFlow side by side
Every TheFork fact below is from TheFork's own published pages, as ResoFlow's comparison page checked them on 12 October 2026. No price TheFork doesn't publish is estimated. Published terms change, so always confirm current terms with TheFork directly. ResoFlow is not affiliated with TheFork. Where a rival says its prices exclude VAT, so do we show them; ResoFlow currently charges no VAT.
- Plan prices: Not published — Visibility, Performance and Enterprise plans are all “Ask for pricing”
- Fees on bookings: Marketplace bookings carry a fee based on a percentage of your average bill per guest (rate not published); own-website, Instagram and Facebook bookings included
- Free plan: None advertised
- Diner marketplace: Yes — TheFork’s marketplace, with special offers and loyalty programmes (Yums and Yums x2) you can activate
- No-show tools: Credit card guarantees, pre-payments and no-show protection listed on its Performance plan
- Getting started: Book a demo / contact sales
ResoFlow's side, from the same page: published plans — Free with no time limit, then Plus (£39/month), Pro (£79/month) and Complete (£129/month), with two months free if you pay annually; no per-cover booking fees and no commission on table bookings; monthly, with no annual contract; and you start self-serve — create your venue free, no demo call. When you first subscribe you get a 14-day money-back guarantee.
When TheFork might suit you better
Four things TheFork's own pages offer that ResoFlow does not — real, and for some venues the whole argument:
- You want diners who don't know you yet. TheFork's marketplace — 20M+ monthly visits across 14 countries, owned by Tripadvisor, which agreed in June 2026 to sell it to American Express — puts your venue in front of diners searching for somewhere to eat. ResoFlow provides direct booking links and a separate venue directory, with no per-cover commission.
- You want to fill quiet services with offers. TheFork lets you activate special offers to boost your visibility on TheFork and increase your bookings — trading discount for volume on the nights you need it. ResoFlow's promotions work your own guest list instead.
- You want a diner loyalty scheme run for you. TheFork lists diner loyalty programmes — Yums and Yums x2 — among the marketing levers you can activate. ResoFlow's loyalty scheme is yours — your rewards, your rules, your venue only.
- You want bookings from many channels at once. TheFork lists multi-channel integration — Google, Tripadvisor, MICHELIN, Meta and more. ResoFlow instead walks you through pointing your own profiles at your booking page.
Step 1 — Export your data from TheFork
Your guest book is your data. Export your customer database and booking history from TheFork Manager as CSV files — or ask their support team for an export if you can't find one in your reports.
Step 2 — Import it into ResoFlow
Imports run from the wizard at Settings → Data import — four steps: Upload, Mapping, Preview, Import. Customer imports come with Plus and above, and with every paid Gift Cards, Loyalty, Tickets or Order & Pay product; booking imports need a venue plan. Only Owners and Admins see the page.
- Pick a tile — Customers for your customer list, Bookings for your reservation history — then click the upload box (Click to upload your CSV file) and choose the file. Maximum 500 rows per file; if your export is larger, split it in a spreadsheet and run the wizard more than once.
- On the Mapping step, the wizard matches your CSV columns to ResoFlow fields wherever the column names are recognisable — check each one and map by hand any it missed, then click Preview data.
- Preview shows the first 10 rows. Fix anything flagged, then click Import N records.
A customer whose email already exists in your directory is merged, never duplicated. Your opening hours, tables and policies aren't part of a CSV — you set those up in ResoFlow directly (Your set-up, in the sidebar, walks you through it).
Step 3 — Share your new booking link
Your public booking page (it looks like …/book/your-venue) is live once your setup essentials are done. Put the link on your website, social profiles and Google Business Profile — the walkthroughs at Settings → Get more bookings cover Google, Apple Maps, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp — or embed the booking widget on your own site. You can run TheFork alongside for a while to keep its marketplace diners during the transition, then decide with real numbers.
