What is each part of the dashboard for?

A quick tour of the ResoFlow dashboard — sidebar, topbar, banners, and where Settings and your account live.

The dashboard is split into a sidebar (where you move between pages), a topbar (live status and quick actions), and the page itself. Here's what each part does.

The sidebar

Home sits on its own at the top, and the other pages are grouped into four sections:

Each section's heading is clickable — click it to collapse or expand that section, and the sidebar remembers your choice (per person, per device). A collapsed section still shows the page you're currently on, so it never disappears.

Below the sections sits Activity log, a record of who did what. Only the pages your plan and products actually include appear in the sections — everything else (each with a padlock), together with products you can add and a More from ResoFlow link to Plans & Products, gathers in one collapsed Unlock more section at the very bottom of the sidebar. Click its heading to open it; the sidebar remembers your choice. See Why does a setting show a padlock or "Available on … plan"?.

At the bottom of the sidebar you'll find:

The topbar

From left to right: the page title, the page's action buttons (for example New booking on Home), a live Open/Closed status pill, the clock, Shift notes (short notes for the whole team — click Add note then Post note), and the notification bell.

Banners

Occasional strips appear below the topbar: the amber "new version ready" bar (see What's the "new version is ready" bar?), and warnings such as a quota banner when a monthly allowance runs out.

Dashboard vs staff portal

The dashboard (at /dashboard) is the full owner and admin view. The staff portal (at /portal) is the same system opened with a staff PIN on a paired device — staff see the same service pages, trimmed to what their role allows.

Your account

Click your avatar → Account to reach the account pages, which share one tab strip: Personal details, Sign-in & Security, Billing, Plan & Usage, Add-Ons (the last three are owner-only), Help & Support and What's New.
