How do I take bookings from Apple Maps?
Add a free Reserve action link to your Apple Maps place card with Apple Business — customers tap it and book on your normal ResoFlow page.
You take bookings from Apple Maps by adding a Reserve action link to your restaurant's place card through Apple Business — Apple's free business tool (it was called "Apple Business Connect" until April 2026; both names refer to the same service). Customers tap the Reserve button and land on your normal ResoFlow booking page, so deposits, no-show protection and confirmations all work exactly as usual. It's free, needs no partnership, and works on any plan.
Only Owners and Admins see the Get more bookings page.
Copy your link from ResoFlow
- Go to Settings → Compliance & integrations → Get more bookings, find the Apple Maps card and click View steps.
- In the Your booking link card, click Copy. The link is tagged (it ends ?source=apple-maps) — Apple explicitly allows analytics tags on action links, and bookings made through it show as "Apple Maps" in Analytics → Booking sources.
Add it to Apple Maps
- Claim and verify your restaurant at business.apple.com. Use a business Apple ID if you can. Verification usually takes from a few days up to a week — and if phone verification fails (it struggles with automated phone menus), the document-upload option is more reliable.
- Open Locations → your restaurant → Actions (+) → Add an Action Link → Custom Action Link.
- Choose the Reserve action type, paste your https:// booking link, then Add and Save.
- Apple reviews the link — allow up to 3 business days on top of the verification wait. Once approved, a Reserve button shows on your place card across Apple Maps, Spotlight, Siri and Safari.
Worth knowing
- It's a link-out button — customers tap it and book on your ResoFlow page. The in-Maps "Book with OpenTable / TheFork" flow is partner-only, and you don't need it: with the link-out, the booking and your customer data stay in ResoFlow.
- Customers need iOS 17.4 or later to see action links.
- There are two waits — Apple's business verification first, then the link review — so it's worth setting up early.
