How do I add booking, gift card and other widgets to my own website?

Paste one script tag per widget to add bookings, gift cards, events, your menu, loyalty sign-up, the waitlist or your whole venue hub to your own website — and customise everything from the dashboard without re-pasting.

You add ResoFlow widgets to your own website by pasting a single line of code per widget. There are eight widgets — Bookings, Gift cards, What's on (a full page or a slim strip of upcoming events), Menu (view-only), Loyalty join, Waitlist, and the Everything widget (one button opening your whole venue hub, with tabs for whatever you have live). Each widget only appears on your site while the matching feature is live for your venue — a widget for something you don't have simply shows nothing, never an upgrade message to your visitors.

Only Owners and Admins see this page.

<script src="https://resoflow.co.uk/widget.js" data-restaurant="your-restaurant-id" data-widget="book" data-mode="takeover" async defer></script>

You can paste several widgets' snippets on one page — for example an inline menu, a What's on strip and a floating booking button together.

Changes reach your site without re-pasting

You never need to re-paste a snippet. Widgets fetch your settings fresh, so anything you save here — text, colour, position, even switching a widget's display mode — appears on your website within a minute. If you pasted the original booking snippet before these options existed, it still works exactly as before, and you can upgrade how it displays using Default display mode — no website changes needed.

There's also a master Show widgets on your website switch: turn it off and every ResoFlow widget vanishes from your site within a minute.

When online bookings are switched off

You choose what the booking widget does if you pause online bookings: show a "bookings are currently closed" notice (the default), or hide the widget entirely.

The live preview

The right-hand column previews the selected widget in each mode on a sample page. The preview opens your real pages — it even carries a notice saying anything completed there is real — so click around freely, but don't complete a test booking or purchase unless you're happy to cancel it afterwards.

What customers get

Everything works exactly as it does on your pages directly — deposits, no-show card capture, gift card purchase and delivery, ticket buying, loyalty sign-up and the waitlist. Cards and Google Pay work inside embedded widgets; Apple Pay is the one exception — Apple doesn't allow it inside another site's embedded frame, so Apple Pay users can pay by card instead. The embedded menu is view-only: order-at-table stays on the QR codes at your tables.

One note for your own site's records: the widget stores nothing on your website or your visitors' browsers on your domain — everything it remembers lives inside ResoFlow's own pages.
