Why isn't my venue on ResoFlow's venue list?

ResoFlow's venue list at resoflow.co.uk/venues shows venues with opening hours set, online bookings on and a booking or paid order in the last 60 days — how it decides, and the switch to stay off it.

ResoFlow's venue list (resoflow.co.uk/venues) shows venues that are open for guests to use through ResoFlow right now. Your venue is listed while all four of these are true:

• Your opening hours are set — in Settings → Venue → Hours.
• Online bookings are on — if you take table bookings (a venue that only sells gift cards or takes Order & Pay orders passes this one).
• You've had at least one confirmed booking or paid order in the last 60 days — a booking that was honoured or is on the books (confirmed, seated or completed — never a cancellation, a no-show or a waitlist entry), or an Order & Pay order that wasn't rejected.
• "Show my venue on ResoFlow’s venue list" is on — in Settings → Venue → Venue profile, under Your public pages (it's on unless you switch it off).

A venue that stops meeting one of these drops off the list and comes back by itself the night after it meets them again — the most common reason for a new venue is no booking yet. It is also never listed if:

• Your public pages are hidden from search engines — the venue list follows Hide from search engines, which sits right beside its switch.
• Your account isn't active — a suspended, cancelled or not-yet-completed account is never listed.
• Your venue has no opening hours — a venue that takes table bookings and has no open day (every day set to Closed) isn't listed, the same rule search engines follow for your venue page. Add your hours in Settings → Venue → Hours and it's back the night after you save them. A venue that sells only gift cards or tickets, or whose website is live, is never left off for this.

Each town with listed venues has its own page at resoflow.co.uk/venues/your-town (for example /venues/kirkcaldy) — its venues, what's on there, gift cards from its venues and the nearby towns, with a short "New this month" note naming the venues that joined the list that month. Your town comes from the town in your sign-up details, or else the address you show guests. Guests can narrow the list to Open now, Books online, What’s on, Gift cards, Dogs welcome or Step-free, and see the venues on a simple drawn map (a pin for each venue that shows its address).

Venues are shown A to Z in each town — never ranked by plan, add-ons, spend or how busy they are. A guest can choose Open now first, or Nearest first (their phone or computer asks them before sharing its location, the distance is worked out on their own device, and the location is never sent to ResoFlow or stored).

While your venue is on the list, Download a picture to share under the switch makes a square picture in your colours saying you're on ResoFlow's list of your town's independents, with your town page's address — for you to post wherever you like (ResoFlow never posts it for you).

Under the switch you'll also see how often your card on the list was seen and opened this month (and last month) — counts only: the list counts cards, never who looked, and stores nothing on anyone's device.

The list is rebuilt once a night, so a change shows by the next morning, not instantly. The line under the switch in Your public pages tells you whether your venue is showing right now and, if not, which of the reasons above applies.

What the venue list shows about your venue: your name, your kind of place, your town and your price range (from Venue profile), your opening line (the one under your name on your venue page — or the first line of your website's About text if you haven't written one), your cover photo (or your logo) on your own brand colour (a neutral dark grey if you haven't chosen one — never ResoFlow's pink), whether you're open now or when you next open (worked out from your opening hours on the guest's own device), your next public event, your Good to know facts, and a Book a table button in your colour (or See venue, if you don't take bookings) with Menu when you show a menu and Gift cards when you sell them online — the same public facts already on your own pages, never any guest's details, and never an offer.
