How do I connect Stripe to take payments?
Connect a Stripe account to take customer payments — deposits, pay-in-full bookings, extras, no-show fees, tickets and gift cards — paid to you.
Connect Stripe from Settings → Payments & deposits → Payments — it powers every customer-payment feature: booking deposits, pay-in-full bookings, paid extras, payment links, no-show fees, event tickets and online gift card sales.
The Payments page is available with deposits (*Plus plan and above*) or with the Gift Cards, Tickets or Order & Pay products, and only the owner and admins can view it — but connecting (or relinking) the Stripe account and opening the Stripe dashboard are owner-only actions, so admins see the connection status without those buttons. Every payment goes directly to your own Stripe account — you are the merchant of record, and ResoFlow never holds your money.
Your Stripe account is your own. When you connect Stripe, you enter Stripe's Connected Account Agreement directly with Stripe — ResoFlow is not a party to it and never holds your funds. You are responsible for managing your Stripe account, including your payout schedule, your disputes, and any information Stripe asks you for. All Stripe fees are yours: card-processing fees (which differ by card type and payment method), any dispute or instant-payout fees, and any other charges under Stripe's pricing — and Stripe may change its fees at any time; Stripe's current pricing page is always the authoritative source. ResoFlow's own platform fees are listed separately (see the fees guide) and never include Stripe's.
Connecting
- Go to Settings → Payments & deposits → Payments.
- Click Connect Stripe. You'll be taken to Stripe's own onboarding, where you enter your business details and the bank account for payouts.
- When you finish, you're returned to ResoFlow and the card shows Stripe connected — "Your account is active and ready to take deposits, event-ticket and no-show payments."
- If you left Stripe's onboarding part-way, the card shows Finish your Stripe setup instead — click Finish setup to complete the remaining steps. Deposits and paid events stay inactive until Stripe confirms your account can take payments.
Once connected
- Income & payouts (owner only) opens your own Stripe dashboard — real income, payouts, Stripe's fees and tax documents. Funds arrive on Stripe's standard payout schedule — the Stripe dashboard shows exactly when each payout lands.
- Relink (owner only) re-runs Stripe onboarding if you ever need to update your details.
- Apple Pay & Google Pay switch on automatically — ResoFlow registers your payment pages with Stripe as part of connecting, so customers with a wallet set up see the Apple Pay or Google Pay option on every payment (deposits, pay-in-full, extras, payment links, tickets, gift cards and table orders). The Stripe card on Settings → Payouts & Stripe shows "Apple Pay and Google Pay are on for your payment pages" once they're live; if they're not on yet you'll see an amber note instead — card payments keep working as normal either way, and it re-checks itself, so no action is needed.
Disconnecting
- Click Disconnect on the Stripe card.
- In the pop-up, type DISCONNECT and click Disconnect Stripe.
- You'll be asked to confirm your password.
Disconnecting unlinks the account: deposits, pay-in-full bookings, paid extras, payment links, event tickets, online gift card sales and no-show charges stop working until you reconnect. Payments already taken are unaffected.
