Can't sign in — password resets and account recovery

Reset a forgotten password, sign in on a Google-only account, add a password to a Google account, and what to do if you're locked out of two-factor authentication.

This guide is for when you can't get into your ResoFlow account. One thing to know up front: nobody — including Rezo, our support assistant — can reset a password, disable two-factor authentication or confirm account details for someone who isn't signed in, because there's no way to verify who's asking. Everything below is either self-serve, or ends with the ResoFlow team verifying your identity manually.

Forgot your password

You can reset it yourself:

If your account uses Google sign-in (no password was ever set), the reset flow tells you to use the Sign in with Google button on the login page instead — there's no password to reset in that case. If you'd like a password as well, you can add one from inside the dashboard — see the next section.

Set a password (Google sign-in accounts)

If you created your account with Continue with Google, you can add an email-and-password sign-in alongside it — useful as a fallback if you ever lose access to your Google account.

Once set, both sign-in methods work: Sign in with Google keeps working exactly as before, and you can also sign in with your email address and the new password.

Locked out of two-factor authentication (2FA)

Think your account was compromised?

Contact the ResoFlow team straight away with the email address on the account and what you've noticed. Once you're back in, change your password, review your active sessions and turn on two-factor authentication if it isn't on already.
