Can I import or export the rota as a spreadsheet?

The Rota page downloads the week as CSV or Excel, and imports shifts from a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file with a preview — names matched to your team, every row checked, nothing saved until you press Import, imported shifts as a draft.

Yes — both ways, on the Rota page (Team → Rota).

Download the week

Download this week (CSV) and Download this week (Excel) give you the week shown on screen, one row per shift: Name, Date, Start, End, Position (the shift's area), Break (minutes) and Note. Open shifts have no name. The file opens in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets.

Import a rota

Press Import a rota, then Choose a file — a CSV or an Excel workbook (.xlsx). The first row is the header; the columns can be in any order, and common names work (Staff or Employee for Name, From and To for Start and End, Role for Position). Dates can be written 13/10/2026 or 2026-10-13, and Excel's own dates and times are read as they show.

Before anything is saved you see every row:

Press Import to add the good rows. Imported shifts start as a draft, so nobody is told until you publish (or, in a published week, until you press Send changes). A Blank template (CSV) and Blank template (Excel) are there to fill in.

The old Excel format (.xls) isn't read — in Excel, save it as an Excel Workbook (.xlsx) or as CSV first. The file is read in your browser; only the rows are sent to ResoFlow.

Importing your team itself (names, emails, roles) is a separate step on the Staff page.
