Where do I see my shifts?

For staff — your shifts are on the Rota page when you sign in with your PIN, in the email your manager's rota sends, in your phone's calendar through your private link, and on your own rota page.

When your venue publishes the rota you can see your shifts five ways:

Your links are yours alone. Don't share them; if one goes astray, ask your manager to renew them and the old ones stop working. If your manager has paused you on the Staff page, your rota page says so and you can't ask for anything there until they resume you.

A shift that ends after midnight belongs to the day it starts. Drafts aren't shown — you only ever see a week once it's sent. If your manager changes a week that's already been sent, you keep seeing it as it was sent — on your rota page, the venue's devices and your calendar — until they send the changes; then you get one message with just your changes.

On your rota page (and on the venue's devices under My shifts), each day of this week and next shows your shifts, Holiday or Off for time off your manager has approved, or Day off. Beside the week is your total — the hours on the rota after your breaks, for example "32h 30m after breaks". Requests still waiting for an answer show under Time off, not on the days.

On your rota page and under Requests you can also ask for time off, say when you can't work and swap shifts — see How do I ask for time off?.

Signed in as a Team member (the login for shifts and clocking in only)? Your My requests sit under your shifts on the Rota page — there's no separate Requests page for that login.

Who else is working

On your rota page (and under Requests when you sign in with your PIN), tap Whole team beside My shifts to see who's on each day — one day at a time. Tap the arrows, or swipe sideways, to move to the day before or the next day. You see this week and next, once each week is published.

It shows each person's name, their start and finish times and their position — nothing else. Never anyone's pay, notes, phone number or email, and never why someone isn't working: a colleague who's off simply isn't listed that day.

Your venue chooses whether staff see this, with Staff can see the whole team's rota in Rota settings. It's on unless your venue switches it off — then the Whole team tab isn't there. The same switch decides whether the Rota page on the venue's own devices shows everyone's shifts or only your own. Either way, Home's On today shows who's on today.

Alerts on your phone

Your rota page can send free alerts to your own phone: when your rota is sent or changed, when a request of yours is answered, when a colleague asks you to swap, and when an open shift you could take comes up (in an area you work, at a time you're free). No sign-in, and never a text message.

Tapping an alert opens your rota page. To stop them, tap Turn off alerts on this phone. If your manager renews your link, alerts on the old link stop at once — open the new link and turn them on again. If you don't turn alerts on, your rota still comes by email when your manager has your address.

You clock in and out only on the venue's own device, with your PIN — never from your phone.

Seen it, and how you hear about your rota

When your manager sends your rota, tap Seen it under the week so they know you've got it. If they send changes later, you'll see 'Changed since you saw it' — have a look and tap Seen it again.

Under How do you want to hear about your rota?, choose Push to my phone, Email, or both. You can't turn both off. If you choose push but haven't switched alerts on for your phone yet, we'll keep emailing you so you don't miss anything.
