Why does my booking page show no available times?

Check online bookings are on, the day's hours, online booking hours, table capacity, covers caps and cut-offs.

First check Accept online table bookings is switched on (Settings → Bookings → Booking rules → Booking channels) — with it off, customers can't book a table online at all. Next, check the day's hours in Settings → Venue → Hours: the day may be Closed, the day may have a Closed for a break window over the times you're expecting, a custom Online booking hours window may be narrower than you expect, or the date may be under Online booking blocked dates. If the hours look right, availability itself may be the issue: no free table big enough for that party size, a party larger than your total seating (which can never be booked online — the note under Maximum party size tells you the number), the Maximum covers per time slot cap already reached, or the times ruled out by your Minimum advance booking lead time. Times also disappear as the day fills or once the remaining slots fall inside your cut-offs.

One more cause that catches people out: booking length. Every booking has to finish by your closing time, so a longer booking runs out of slots sooner — at a venue closing at 10pm, the last 1-hour booking is 9pm but the last 2½-hour booking is 7:30pm. If you let customers choose their own duration, lengths that can't fit in the day that's left are greyed out for them, and the page says so rather than claiming you're fully booked.

If you use Food & drinks-only bookings, remember each type has its own picture: drinks-only bookings follow your Drinks-only online booking hours and the per-type covers caps, so one type can be sold out (or finished for the evening) while the other still has times. When that happens the booking page tells the customer and offers a one-tap switch to the other type.
