A whole new ResoFlow
A fresh look on every screen, plus Find a table on every plan, guest messages, events where guests choose their own table, an allergy question on every phone order, member groups and a new Rezo. Everything new, area by area.
ResoFlow has a whole new look today, and a lot more inside it. Every screen has been redesigned, and the new things go right through the night: finding a table in one look, seeing the floor as it will be later tonight, talking with your guests in one place, events where guests choose their own table, an allergy question on every phone order, member groups for your loyalty scheme, a fuller website and a new Rezo. Your bookings, settings, customers and links are exactly where you left them, and every plan gets more from today. Here is everything new, area by area.
Running the night
The floor plan at 19:30: every table shows who is there, with the time slider looking ahead and the tables still to seat on the right.
The floor plan now shows the night as it will be, not only as it is. Slide the time along the top and every table shows who will be sitting there at that moment; tap Live to come back to now. Down the right-hand side, a list shows the guests arriving, the bookings that still need a table and your waiting list — drag a card onto a table and it shows green, amber or red for how well it fits. Tap any table for its own sheet: who's there, how long it stays free ("Free for 1h 30m — until 21:00"), Seat a walk-in here, and quick blocks for 30 minutes, an hour or the rest of the night.
Find a table answers "have you got a table for four?" in one look. Pick how many and when — now, or a time later today — and it lists the free tables and pairs of tables, with how long each one stays free, and Seat walk-in or Book it beside each. It uses the same rules as seating a walk-in, so the cleaning gap is always kept. It's on the Timeline and the floor plan, on every plan.
Find a table: free tables for two, now, with how long each stays free.
Join tables pushes two or more tables together right on the floor, and they work as one table until you Split them or the day ends. Edit layout changes your room right on the floor plan — move a table, then Save layout — and a Big labels switch makes the floor easier to read on the door iPad.
Walk-ins take three quick steps: who, the table ResoFlow suggests, then one look before Seat now. The suggested table used to come with Complete; it's on every plan now.
The alert sounds have been made again: the same tunes, cleaner and all at one loudness, so a new booking is as easy to hear as an alarm. They load when the page opens, so the first one plays straight away, and you only ever hear one at a time.
The Timeline marks the cleaning gap after each booking, how long a late table is held and when a table runs over time, so the gaps you can actually sell are easy to see.
The Timeline: tonight table by table, with the Unassigned row on top.
Bookings
New booking takes a few short steps — who, the details, when, the table, any payment, then a review — with a summary beside it the whole way. It checks as you pick: times that won't fit are greyed with a short reason ("No table", "Busy", "Full"), and if a choice stops fitting — you change the party size, say — it tells you at once and offers the nearest time that does. Finding an existing customer works on every plan, and a guest with past no-shows carries a small heads-up. If you're interrupted, your half-made booking waits for 30 minutes with Carry on.
New booking, step 1 of 6, with the summary beside it.
Opening a booking shows four tabs — Overview, Money, Messages and History — with Seat, Mark arrived and Cancel at the top. The Bookings list puts a Needs you tab first.
A booking beside the list, on its Overview tab.
Briefing puts the service ahead on one page for your team: big tables, VIPs, allergies and dietary needs, birthdays and occasions, money paid ahead, and notes. Choose today or tomorrow, lunch or tonight; show it on screen, print it, or send its one-line summary as a phone alert — with no guest names.
If you ever have to close at short notice, Close a day cancels every booking left that day, emails each guest (and texts them if you tick it) and refunds every deposit in full. For smaller news, Message a day's guests tells everyone still to come — "we're running 20 minutes behind tonight".
A day can now be Open 24 hours.
Talking with your guests
Messages: every conversation with your guests, beside its booking.
Guests can now reply to your booking emails, or press Message the venue on your venue page, their booking or My account. On Pro and Complete every conversation lands in the new Messages page — and on its booking and the customer's profile — where your team replies, adds a Note for the team, uses Quick replies and marks it Mark as done. Staff who are allowed can reply from the staff portal too. On Free and Plus, replies come to the email address you choose.
Guests can tell you they're running late — 10, 15 or 20+ minutes — from their reminder or their booking page, and the booking shows "Running late · 15m". And if a confirmation can't be delivered, the booking says We couldn't email this guest, with the reason and Resend.
Texts keep to one message: Name in texts sets the short name your texts use, and the default texts are trimmed to fit. If a send needs more credits than you have, you choose: send to those covered now, buy more and send to everyone, or send the rest automatically when you top up. On Pro and Complete you can now send a text campaign as well as an email one.
Events where guests choose their table
On a guest's phone: choosing a table for an event, a venue page that says Open now, and a party guest choosing their own food.
On a seated event, guests now pick their own table when they buy. Each table can be Private or Shared, with an optional extra for the best tables — for the table, or per person — and Choose for me for anyone who'd rather not. Their table is held for 15 minutes while they pay, and Save seats for friends sends a link to the rest of the group. Their table is on their ticket, their email, their Wallet pass and their reminder. If someone else takes it in the moment they're paying, they get the best free table at the same price or less, and any difference comes back automatically.
Your team can Move to another table or Refund tickets for part of an order without cancelling the rest — both from the event's attendees, never your Stripe dashboard.
You can run several events on one day now, and set a night to repeat every week, every other week, every month or on the dates you pick. Rezo reads your poster and fills in a new event from a picture of it (1 credit). And when an event sells out, its waiting list offers returned tickets one person at a time, in the order they joined.
Experiences
Experiences: things guests book with their own price and times.
Experiences are things guests book with their own price, times and places — afternoon tea, a tasting menu, a masterclass. Each one has its own booking link and its own refund rule, and a paid experience can take the full price or a deposit. A booking can be moved to a different experience, with only the difference settled. Experiences are on Pro and Complete.
More ways to take bookings
- Your own questions — up to three questions of your own when people book: a tick box, a choice or a short answer. Plus and above.
- Good to know — tick your venue's facts, like a step-free entrance or dogs welcome, and they show on your venue page.
- Trusted regulars — let regulars book without being asked for a deposit or card (off until you switch it on).
- Turn a kept deposit into credit — instead of keeping a deposit, give the guest a gift card for their next visit.
- Ask for a card — send a guest a link to save a card after they've booked. Nothing is charged; they agree to your no-show fee. Plus and above.
- Let each guest choose their own food — for big parties, everyone picks (and can pay for) their own dishes on their own link. Pro and Complete.
- Wallet passes for bookings — table bookings in Apple and Google Wallet, under Settings → Customer notifications (off until you switch it on).
Order & Pay and your menu
Every phone order asks about allergies first.
Every order sent from a phone now asks "Does anyone in your party have a food allergy or intolerance?" By default, a customer who answers Yes is asked to order with your team. Or choose Tell us with the order, and their note reaches the Orders screen, the kitchen ticket and the receipt with a red ALLERGY label.
Customers can join your loyalty scheme when they order — at the table, for collection or for delivery — and earn on that very order once they confirm their email. Take an order goes customer first, in short steps — and the same screen now records a party's pre-order over the phone, and edits an order your team took. Change one that hasn't been paid yet and the customer gets a new payment link with the new total; the old one stops working, so nobody pays the wrong amount.
How your menu looks gives you a list layout like a printed menu, prices in whole pounds and the choice to hide sold-out dishes until they're back; any dish can be Mark as new for four weeks, or show Market price instead of a price. And Import your menu now reads your menu page by page, with an Undo for 30 minutes after you add the dishes.
Loyalty and gift cards
The Loyalty page: members, stamps given, and the members one stamp from a reward.
Member groups give your regulars a reason to sign up: students, NHS & care, blue light & forces, over 60s, locals — or groups of your own — each with a perk you choose, at no extra charge. Students can confirm themselves with a code to their university email, and NHS & care or your own groups with a work email; the others are checked by your team at the venue.
The Members tab opens on Close to a reward — who's one stamp away and whether they're booked in — and Add a member works right from the Loyalty page. Rewards and offers that include alcohol show 18+ · ID may be checked, and the Scanner reminds your team to check ID. A guest who ticks to join when booking earns for that booking as soon as they confirm their email, and a member who booked without signing in gets Collect your stamp in their confirmation. New schemes can start from a ready-made card, like a Coffee card.
Guests buy gift cards in four short steps, the designs have a page of their own, and from September to Christmas Eve a Plan your Christmas push card gathers what sells the most gift cards in December.
Your venue page and your website
The free venue page's five styles, with Linen and Canvas marked New.
Your free venue page tells guests whether you're open right now — "Open now · until 22:00" — and, if you take walk-ins, when a table is free right now. It has two new styles, Linen and Canvas, beside Hearth, Atelier and Ember, and can take a tint of your own colour.
The Your website product has three new looks — Journal, Studio and Chalkboard — thirteen in all. Try it on my site opens your own site in any look before you choose, and the live preview sits beside the editor: click any part of the site and its settings open. Search and sharing shows how your page might look on Google, a Get our news card can collect email sign-ups (each one confirmed by email), and Use my website's colours and logo in my emails dresses your guest emails to match your site.
Gift cards, Loyalty, Events and Menu each start with a Your … page card now: the page's address to copy, Open, its QR code and Add to your website.
Meet the new Rezo
Rezo's help panel beside Bookings: he knows the page, offers questions about it, and Talk to the team brings in a person.
Rezo, the helper in your dashboard, has been redrawn — and he does a good deal more than answer questions now.
One help panel, beside your page. Press Ask Rezo in the top bar and the help panel opens down the right with your page still in view (from the bottom on a phone). It has four tabs. Ask Rezo is your chat with him: before you've typed anything, he offers a few questions about the page you're on, and Talk to the team brings in a person. Guides shows the guides for that page, with a search over all of them. Your messages keeps your conversations with our team. And Suggestions is new.
Suggestions, every night. Each night Rezo looks over your venue and suggests a few small things that would help: dishes with no allergens ticked, a dish showing as "Free" because it's priced at £0, a menu with no photos, a quiet night coming up, reviews with no reply, or your booking link not yet on Google. They're free — plain checks of your own settings and bookings, not AI — and each one's button opens the page where you'd fix it. You'll find them in the Suggestions tab and, one at a time, as Rezo suggests on Home. Not now puts one away for 30 days; Stop suggesting this stops it for good.
Rezo's Suggestions tab: free ideas worked out each night from the venue's own settings and bookings.
He can make a few changes for you. For a handful of simple settings — your opening hours, a special date, how long bookings last, how far ahead guests can book — Rezo can make the change for you. He shows it as a card first: nothing changes until you press Save this?, and for 30 minutes afterwards Undo puts it back. Ask him to "book a table for 4 at 7 tonight" and he gives you a link to New booking, already filled in, for you to check and save. Give him a booking's reference and he'll tell you its status, time, table and party size.
Setting up with you. Each step on Your set-up has Rezo beside it with an Ask Rezo button, so he knows which step you're asking about. He only opens when you ask.
Jobs he does for you. Asking Rezo for help is always free. The jobs he does for you use Rezo credits — the new name for AI credits — and every button shows its price before you press it:
- He reads your menu from photos, a PDF or a web page: 1 credit a page, and a page he can't read gives its credit back.
- Rezo reads your poster and fills in a new event: 1 credit.
- Rezo writes the description of an event — or your website's About text and FAQs: 1 credit each.
- On Pro and Complete, Rezo drafts a reply to a review in the tone you pick — Warm, Brief or Formal: 1 credit.
- On Reports, Let Rezo explain it sums up last month in a few sentences: 1 credit.
- Reading a floor plan from a picture is now 2 credits (it was 4).
Everything Rezo writes or reads is shown to you to check before anything is saved. Free and Plus venues get 10 welcome Rezo credits, once; Pro includes 30 a month and Complete 100.
Signing in and your team
Keep me signed in on this device? Say Yes, it's mine on your own phone or computer and stay signed in for 30 days after you last use it — no more signing in every day. Owners and admins can also sign in with a passkey: Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or Windows Hello. Your signed-in devices list shows each one with its rough town, and Sign out there really signs that device out.
The staff PIN pad on the door iPad.
On the door iPad, staff tap their name, then their PIN — the people who used that iPad lately come first, with a search for bigger teams — and Forgot my PIN? sits beside it. "Jo's PIN is locked" comes with Unlock, and you can Pause someone without deleting them. When a manager approves something with their PIN, you get a bell to say so.
There are two apps now. ResoFlow is yours — it opens where you choose, with your own alerts. ResoFlow Staff, added from the staff PIN page, always opens the PIN pad, and when you set up the door iPad you can send it the venue's alerts — new bookings, guests' messages, orders and late arrivals. Pairing a new iPad takes a six-character code. Door and Kitchen logins never count towards your staff logins.
And it all looks new
Every screen has had a glow-up: the dashboard, Settings, your guests' pages and your venue page. Buttons and text are bigger and easier to tap, and on a phone a menu bar runs along the bottom — Home, Bookings, Orders (if you take orders), Customers and More. The search at the top finds bookings, customers, settings and help guides, and does things too: type new booking for 4 at 7pm and it opens New booking with the party and time filled in; anything else, Ask Rezo. Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) from any page of the dashboard.
Search or do anything: "new booking for 4 at 7pm" becomes a filled-in New booking.
Pages keep their web addresses, so your bookmarks still work. The Help Centre's guide Where has something moved to in the new ResoFlow? lists the few things that did move, and the first time you open the new ResoFlow a short welcome tour shows you round.
More on your plan, from today
Every venue gets more today, and nothing new costs you anything unless you choose it.
- Free: 100 service emails a month, up from 50; special dates and seasonal hours; your booking QR code; and your customer list.
- Plus: five staff logins, up from three; and, now on Plus and above, Notify me if a table frees up and Google review requests (they come out of your ordinary booking-email allowance).
- Free and Plus: 10 welcome Rezo credits, once.
- Every plan: Find a table, joining tables and a suggested table for walk-ins.
- More than one venue? When two or more venues are billed together on one account invoice, every plan on it is 10% off — 15% off from the fifth venue.
One thing to do
Before your next marketing email or text goes out — automations included — the venue's owner confirms the business once, in Settings → Venue profile → Your business. It usually takes about a minute, and bookings, confirmations and reminders never wait for it.
