How reviews work

Someone who booked, ordered or got a ticket at the venue through ResoFlow — after their visit, after their order was delivered or collected, or from the day after the event. They have 30 days to leave it, and there’s one review per booking, order or event booking (however many tickets it holds).

A star rating from 1 to 5, any words the customer adds (words are optional), the name they chose to show, and a small badge saying whether they dined in, ordered for collection or delivery, or came to an event. It never shows their email address or other contact details, or which booking or order it came from.

The customer can change their review for 30 days after leaving it.

Strong swearing and slurs are refused when a review is posted. When a venue reports a review, we remove it if it is abusive, hateful or threatening, isn’t about a real visit, is fake or misleading, or includes someone’s personal details.

The venue can reply once to each review, in public. The reply shows as “Reply from the venue”, and the venue can edit it.

A venue can report a review it thinks breaks these rules. While we check it, the review is hidden from the venue’s page and its rating for at most 7 days. If it breaks the rules, we remove it. If it doesn’t, or we haven’t removed it within 7 days, it comes back. A review that has come back once can be reported again, but stays on the page while we look.

Only ResoFlow, and only a review a venue has reported that breaks these rules. A venue can’t remove a review from its page. When we remove one, its words are deleted. A customer’s reviews are also deleted whenever their details are erased — at their request, or by the venue.
