Guests can use a valid gift card at the supported checkouts you enable, or your authorised team can redeem it at the venue. Balance, expiry and your terms still apply.
At the venue your team scans the guest's card and either takes the whole balance in one tap or types an exact amount. Whatever is left stays on the card for next time, which is usually another visit you would not otherwise have had.

Keep gift-card codes private
Anyone with a valid gift-card code can use its balance. Authorised staff can manage eligible purchase refunds from the app and follow their progress. A refund that needs attention stays visible for review; some cases need further checks with Stripe.

Products and venue plans share a single subscription. If you later move to a plan that already includes gift cards, the separate £25 charge comes off automatically.
How gift cards work at your venue.
Three things to have in hand from day one.
You will need a Stripe account
The buyer pays your Stripe account directly, so you need one — you are the merchant, and card processing is at Stripe's standard rate. Setting one up is part of the free venue setup if you would rather not do it alone.
A gift card is like cash
Anyone with a valid code can use its balance, so guests should keep it private. You choose which staff can redeem cards, and sensitive card actions require the appropriate permission and confirmation.
There is no plastic-card service
ResoFlow does not print or post physical cards. Gift cards are digital — emailed, held in a wallet, or printed by you as a certificate on your own paper.

What do you take from a gift card sale?
Nothing. There is no platform fee on gift cards — payments go to your own Stripe account. Stripe's standard card processing rate applies to you as the merchant, as it does on any card payment you take.
Can a guest spend part of a card and keep the rest?
Yes. Take the whole balance in one tap, or type an exact amount — whatever is left stays on the card, and the wallet pass balance updates. Anyone can check a balance online with just the code.
Do I need a booking system to sell gift cards?
No. Gift cards are included on the Pro and Complete plans, and they are also a standalone product at £25/month for any business — with no booking plan at all. The standalone product also brings customer profiles, CSV import and export, the marketing composer and SMS.
Can I run a "buy £50, get £55" offer?
Yes — that is a bonus offer, and the extra is added on top of what they paid. You can also run a price discount, where they pay £45 for a card still worth £50. Either way the maths is shown to the buyer before they pay.
Do you print physical cards?
No. There is no plastic-card printing or postal service. Cards are digital — sent by email, added to Apple or Google Wallet, and printable by you as a certificate if somebody wants something to hand over.
