Gift cards
Sell gift cards — or gift vouchers, if that's what your guests call them — from your venue's own page and at the venue. Digital gift cards with occasion designs, scheduled delivery, wallet passes and a live balance, paid straight into your own Stripe account.
On Pro and above — from £79/month.
Or on its own — £25/month.
There's no platform fee on gift card sales — your venue keeps 100% of the face value.
A gift shop that runs itself.
Your venue gets its own gift-card page — linked from your venue hub, your website and your socials — and the whole purchase happens without you touching anything.
- 1
They pick an amount and a design
Preset amounts you choose or their own (within the bounds you set), an occasion design — birthday, Christmas, thank you — and a personal message for the recipient.
- 2
Straight away, or on the day
The card arrives by email — to the recipient or back to the buyer, perfect for printing. Or they schedule it: a birthday card bought in October arrives on the morning of the birthday, around 8am your local time.
- 3
You get paid immediately
Payment lands in your venue's own Stripe account the moment the card is bought — ResoFlow never holds your money, whether the card is spent next week or next year.
- 4
And front-of-house too
Activate printed or physical cards at the venue through the Scanner — sell them at the bar at Christmas, settle the money the way you normally would, and the balance still lives on the same system.
Offers, occasions and a card that lives in their wallet.
Bonus and discount offers
Run a bonus ("we'll add 10% extra to your gift card") or a price discount ("£5 off — the card is still worth its full value") for the windows you choose — the maths is shown to the guest plainly before they pay.
Designs and printables
Occasion designs set the look of the email and the wallet pass, and every card can be printed as a certificate — for givers who want something to wrap, and for selling at the venue.
Wallet passes, live balance
Cards come with Apple and Google Wallet passes carrying a live balance in your venue's colours — and anyone can check a balance online with just the code, no personal details asked.
Spendable wherever money changes hands.
You choose where cards are accepted, across whichever of these surfaces your venue runs — bookings, ordering and events each come with their own plan or product. Redemption is always partial — whatever isn't spent stays on the card for next time.
Booking deposits
Guests apply a gift card at booking checkout and it covers some or all of the deposit — the card does the paying, the table gets booked.
Order & Pay at the table
A gift card applies at at-table checkout: it covers what it can, any remainder goes on the guest's card, and the leftover balance stays on the gift card.
Event tickets
DJ night, tasting, festive dinner — gift cards pay for event tickets too, often the very thing the card was given for.
At the venue
Front-of-house, staff redeem any amount against the bill through the Scanner — a one-tap full-balance button, or exactly the pounds and pence you need.
Honest about the money.
There's no platform fee on gift card sales — your venue keeps 100% of the face value.
The card is the money
A gift card is a bearer instrument: the balance lives on the card itself and whoever holds the code can spend it. That's why codes are never shown on screen — cards are delivered by email, and staff surfaces show only the last few characters.
Your Stripe account, your money
Online sales are paid directly into your venue's own Stripe account. Stripe's standard card-processing fees apply to your venue, exactly as with any card payment you take.
Refunds stay in the app
Refund the unspent balance of an online card from your dashboard — the card is voided in the same breath, refunds are permission-gated, and you never need to open Stripe to give money back.
When gift cards aren't right for you.
You'll need a Stripe account
Online gift-card sales are paid through your venue's own Stripe account, so you'll need one connected — it's free to set up, but it is a step before your first sale. At-venue activation works without the online shop.
A gift card is like cash
The bearer-instrument simplicity cuts both ways: anyone holding a code can spend it, so a forwarded email or a photographed certificate is spendable until you void the card. If that sits badly with how your venue runs, weigh it before switching them on.
There's no plastic-card service
ResoFlow doesn't print or post physical cards for you. You can print certificates and activate your own physical cards at the venue — but if you want embossed plastic delivered in racks, you'd be sourcing that yourself.
If gift cards aren't for your venue, nothing else in ResoFlow assumes you sell them — bookings, events and Order & Pay carry on exactly the same.
