Switch from Favouritetable

Considering Favouritetable? See both sides.

Favouritetable is a UK booking system with published prices, no booking commission and a free tier — common ground worth respecting. The real comparison is the ladders: theirs runs £69 to £199 a month with the toolkit arriving tier by tier; ResoFlow runs free to £129/month with gift cards, events, loyalty and promotions in-plan and tables on every tier. Here's both sides.

Favouritetable details are from Favouritetable's own website (favouritetable.com and its pricing page), checked July 2026: FT Lite £69/month, FT Pro £129/month, FT Ultimo £199/month (annual billing available), FT Free at £0 for up to 30 bookings a month as its exclusive-provider free tier, and FT Flex at £2 per cover; its headline is "No Commission / No Per-Cover Fees / No Tie-Ins", with the per-cover figure applying only to the optional Flex model; its feature grid places table management on FT Pro and marketing tools (email, SMS and WhatsApp), pre-ordering and EPOS integration on FT Ultimo. On the ResoFlow side: Free's free plan covers up to 30 online bookings a month; you keep 100% of your deposits and there's no platform fee on gift card sales — your venue keeps 100% of the face value; a fee of 2.9% + 50p applies per paid event ticket (your venue absorbs it by default). Why ResoFlow

More of the toolkit, lower on the ladder.

A lower ladder, rung for rung

Compared plan for plan, ResoFlow sits below Favouritetable's published prices: Plus is £39/month against FT Lite's £69, and Complete — the full toolkit — is £129/month against FT Ultimo's £199. Every paid plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee, and the free plan carries no exclusivity condition.

Tables on every plan, toolkit in the plan

Table and floor-plan management is part of every ResoFlow plan, including the free one — and gift cards, ticketed events, money-off promotions and a loyalty programme are plan features on Pro (£79/month) and above, with gift cards, tickets and loyalty also available on their own from £25/month. (ResoFlow's own optional extras are honest and small: credit top-ups for SMS and email, and extra image storage.)

Your guest data stays yours

Bring your Favouritetable guest list with you via CSV import, and export everything back out whenever you like. Guest profiles, visit history, allergies and preferences live in your own dashboard — hosted in the EU, covered by UK GDPR, and never sold or shared.

The honest bit

When Favouritetable might suit you better.

You want pay-as-you-go instead of a subscription

Favouritetable's FT Flex offers unlimited bookings at £2 per cover with no monthly plan — a structure that can suit a venue whose bookings are few and irregular. ResoFlow has no per-cover option by design; its plans are flat monthly prices.

You want WhatsApp in your marketing mix

FT Ultimo's marketing tools cover email, SMS and WhatsApp. ResoFlow's marketing works your guest list by email and SMS — there's no WhatsApp channel today.

You run several sites on one system

Multi-site management arrives on FT Pro and up. ResoFlow is built for independent venues — one account, one venue, one flat price.

You need EPOS integration

FT Ultimo lists EPOS integration. ResoFlow doesn't offer EPOS integrations today — bookings, payments and reports live in ResoFlow itself.

If those are your priorities, Favouritetable may genuinely be the better fit — we'd rather you choose the right tool. If a lower ladder with more of the toolkit in the plan matters more, read on.

The switch

Move from Favouritetable in three steps.

  1. 1

    Export your data from Favouritetable

Your guest list is your data. Export your customer database and booking history from Favouritetable as CSV files — or ask their support team for an export if you can't find one in your reports.

  2. 2

    Import it into ResoFlow

Open Settings → Data import in your ResoFlow dashboard and upload each CSV. The wizard matches your columns to ResoFlow fields, shows a preview before anything is written, and imports up to 500 rows per file. Customers with a matching email are merged, never duplicated.

  3. 3

Point your channels at your new booking link

Your public booking page is live the moment setup is complete. Put the link on your website, social profiles and Google Business Profile — or embed the booking widget directly on your site — and new bookings land in your dashboard in real time.

CSV import is included on Plus (£39/month) and above, and with any paid ResoFlow product. Full walkthrough in our data import guide.

FAQ

Favouritetable vs ResoFlow, answered.

Both are UK systems with published prices, no booking commission and a real free plan — genuine common ground. The differences are in the ladders. Favouritetable's paid plans run £69, £129 and £199 a month, with table management arriving on FT Pro and marketing tools on FT Ultimo (as at July 2026). ResoFlow's ladder starts lower (£39/month) and tops out at £129/month with gift cards, ticketed events, loyalty and promotions as plan features on Pro and above — gift cards, tickets and loyalty are also sold on their own, from £25/month — and table and floor-plan management is on every plan, including the free one.
Favouritetable publishes its prices — credit where it's due. As at July 2026: FT Lite is £69/month, FT Pro is £129/month and FT Ultimo is £199/month (annual billing available), FT Free is £0 for up to 30 bookings a month with Favouritetable as your exclusive booking provider, and FT Flex is a pay-as-you-go option at £2 per cover. Its site's headline is "No Commission / No Per-Cover Fees / No Tie-Ins" — the £2 per cover applies only if you choose the Flex model. Online ordering is a separate product at £99/month billed annually. Always confirm current pricing with Favouritetable directly.
Plans are flat-rate and published too: Free is free forever (up to 30 online bookings a month, no exclusivity condition), Plus is £39/month, Pro is £79/month and Complete is £129/month, with two months free if you pay annually. Every paid plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, there are no per-cover fees on any plan or option, and you can cancel any time from your dashboard.
Since both publish their prices, you can compare directly. Plan for plan, ResoFlow's ladder sits lower: Plus is £39/month against FT Lite's £69, and Complete — the whole toolkit — is £129/month against FT Ultimo's £199. Favouritetable's FT Flex flips the question: £2 per cover with no monthly fee can suit a venue with a small, irregular trickle of bookings, though it scales with volume — ResoFlow has no per-cover option by design. Price up your own booking numbers on both.
Yes. Export your customer database and booking history from Favouritetable as CSV files — or ask their support team for an export — then use ResoFlow's import wizard at Settings → Data import. It matches your CSV's columns to ResoFlow fields, previews everything before anything is written, and handles up to 500 rows per file. Customers with a matching email are merged, never duplicated. CSV import is included on Plus (£39/month) and above, and with any paid ResoFlow product.
On Pro (£79/month) and Complete (£129/month) they're plan features — and gift cards, tickets and loyalty can also be bought on their own, from £25/month, if you only want one piece. There's no platform fee on gift card sales — your venue keeps 100% of the face value, and a fee of 2.9% + 50p applies per paid event ticket (your venue absorbs it by default). ResoFlow does have optional paid extras of its own — SMS, email and marketing credit top-ups, and extra image storage — named here so "in the plan" stays honest.
