Considering TheFork? See both sides.
TheFork pairs restaurant software with one of Europe's biggest diner marketplaces — and its own pricing page says marketplace bookings carry a fee based on a percentage of your average bill per guest, with the rate unpublished. ResoFlow takes the other road: no marketplace, no percentage fees, flat published prices from free to £129/month. Here's an honest comparison — including when TheFork might suit you better.

TheFork details are from TheFork's own websites (thefork.co.uk and theforkmanager.com), checked July 2026. Its pricing page lists two plans — Performance and Enterprise — with no prices ("Ask for pricing"), and says reservations from TheFork, Tripadvisor and partners carry a "fee based on a percentage of your average bill per guest" while reservations from your website, Instagram and Facebook are included; the percentage isn't published, so this page quotes no estimates for it. Features and pricing change; always confirm current terms with TheFork directly. On the ResoFlow side: you keep 100% of your deposits and there's no platform fee on gift card sales — your venue keeps 100% of the face value; a fee of 2.9% + 50p applies per paid event ticket (your venue absorbs it by default). ResoFlow is not affiliated with TheFork, La Fourchette or Tripadvisor.
Flat pricing, and the relationship stays yours.
A price you can see, and a bill that stays flat
TheFork's marketplace fee is a percentage of your average bill per guest — so a busy month, a bigger party or a pricier menu all cost you more, and you can't see the rate before you talk to sales. ResoFlow is the same flat published price all year (free to £129/month), whatever you serve. Our calculator shows what a per-guest fee comes to on your numbers.
The toolkit in your plan
Gift cards, ticketed events, money-off promotions and a loyalty programme are part of your plan on Pro and above — and gift cards, tickets and loyalty are also available on their own, from £25/month. (ResoFlow's own optional extras are honest and small: credit top-ups for SMS and email, and extra image storage.)
Your guests book with you, not through a middleman
Bookings come through your own website, links and profiles, so the relationship — and the data — is yours. Guest profiles, visit history, allergies and preferences live in your own dashboard, hosted in the EU, covered by UK GDPR, and never sold or shared.
When TheFork might suit you better.
You want diners who don't know you yet
TheFork's core value is its marketplace — its site claims 20M+ monthly visits across 11 countries, and it's part of the Tripadvisor family. ResoFlow has no diner marketplace; guests find you through your own website, Google profile and social links.
You want to fill quiet services with offers
TheFork promotes special offers of up to 50% off across its website and app — real visibility for venues that want to trade discount for volume on slow nights. ResoFlow's promotions work your own guest list instead of a marketplace audience.
You want a diner loyalty scheme run for you
Yums, TheFork's rewards programme, gives diners points on every marketplace booking and money off at participating venues — a ready-made reason for its diners to keep booking. ResoFlow's loyalty programme is your own scheme for your own guests.
You want bookings from many channels at once
TheFork Manager advertises multi-channel booking integration — Google, Tripadvisor, MICHELIN, Meta and more. ResoFlow doesn't offer those integrations today; instead it walks you through pointing your Google Business Profile's booking link at your ResoFlow page.
If most of your bookings would come from diners discovering you on TheFork, its percentage fee may be money well spent — we'd rather you choose the right tool. If most of your bookings already come through your own website and Google profile, you may be paying discovery prices for guests who were coming anyway. Run your numbers through the calculator and decide with evidence.
Move from TheFork in three steps.
- 1
Export your data from TheFork Manager
Your guest list is your data. Export your customer database and booking history from TheFork Manager as CSV files — or ask their support team for an export if you can't find one in your reports.
- 2
Import it into ResoFlow
Open Settings → Data import in your ResoFlow dashboard and upload each CSV. The wizard matches your columns to ResoFlow fields, shows a preview before anything is written, and imports up to 500 rows per file. Customers with a matching email are merged, never duplicated.
- 3
Point your channels at your new booking link
Your public booking page is live the moment setup is complete. Put the link on your website, social profiles and Google Business Profile — or embed the booking widget directly on your site. Many venues run TheFork alongside for a while to keep its marketplace diners during the transition, then decide with real numbers.
CSV import is included on Plus (£39/month) and above, and with any paid ResoFlow product. Full walkthrough in our data import guide.
